Gina des Cognets

I help people and organizations to realize their greatest potential.

I’m Gina des Cognets, EdD, and I’m excited to meet you.

I'm a builder at heart—of teams, businesses, and most importantly, people. Through leadership roles at companies like Strava, Boston Beer Company, and AOL Time Warner, I've developed a reputation for helping people and organizations realize possibilities they didn't know existed.

As a trusted advisor to CEOs and emerging leaders, I create safe spaces where authentic conversations flourish. My coaching approach starts with deep, active listening and continues with powerful questions to spark breakthrough insights for my clients. This style has made me a sought-after mentor and coach for leaders at all stages of their journey.

As a lifelong learner, many of my formative years have been spent in school! I completed my EdD in Leadership and Learning in Organizations at Peabody (Vanderbilt) in 2021. For my Capstone project, I studied Organizational Culture and Decision-Making at Strava, one of Fast Company’s 2020 top 50 Most Innovative Companies. I earned my MBA at the Tuck School of Business and a BA in Art History/Psychology minor from Hamilton College.

I’m proud to be Archer’s wife and the lucky mom to two amazing teenage girls and two lovable dogs. I am happiest when I am out for a run, bike, or ski on the Vermont trails and dirt roads, dancing just about anywhere I hear a good beat, and cooking delicious and healthy-ish meals for the people I adore.
